Article: “Feeding the Layer Pullet”

Certified organic feed is available to ensure your own products maintain their organic status. Veggie based feeds are in stock. Milk replacements are available for all types of livestock.

Don't know which type of feed to buy for your horse?
Just ask one of our knowledgeable staff. We take into consideration all types and ages of horses including those in competition, the casual riding horse, senior horse, mares in foal and the young horse.

The wide selection of horse feeds includes All Phase, Martins Happy Trails extruded feed and others. We also carry a variety of supplements  too which you can buy prepackaged or in bulk like vitamins, flax and beet pulp. Then there are the treats, all of them high quality and some fun for the horse like the rolling "Vitamin lick" balls and other stall mounted vitamin licks.dressagerider

When introducing a new feed, remember to add the feed gradually, mixing small amounts into what they normally eat over a period of 4 days to a week until the new feed is fully integrated.

In winter when temperatures drop, feed more hay than grain and consider putting in a water tub heater to encourage more water consumption.
